Stage1 Audi Q8 50 TDI 2020.

Our company UPstage welcomed a sporty crossover from German manufacturer Audi. The Q8 comes equipped with a 50 TDI diesel engine. The manufacturer claims a power output of 286hp and 600Nm. The car also has an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive Quattro.

The first dyno test showed the original power output to be 294hp and 616Nm. The car even exceeded the advertised specifications, which is a normal occurrence in practice.

The client’s goal was to make their car more agile and dynamic. Let’s get to work!

We read the original software from the engine control unit and send it to our partners for individual software tuning. The engineers perform individual tuning based on the original. After some time, the tuning file is ready and can be flashed back into the car.

After securing the car back on the dyno, we make a test measurement and record logs from the car. When all indicators are in the norm, we can make a final measurement and get the end result.

Audi Q8 50 TDI 2020 chip tuning at the Stage1 level added +60hp and +187Nm to the car. Now under the hood of the car: 354hp and 803Nm.
