I stopped by for chip tuning of BMW 525d in F10 body. Engine N47D20, very popular on cars of this brand in our country.

Initially the client decided to do only chip tuning, but after measuring on the dinostand, when there was not found 8 hp. (on the stand 210 hp), decided in addition to programmatically disable and remove the particulate filter.

The particulate filter is dismantled easily, unlike the three-liter diesel, where you have to lower the subframe, here everything is simple removed the particulate filter, took out the filter element, welded the can and installed back in the standard place.

At the same time we adjusted the firmware, according to the program stage1 plus with program disconnection of the particulate filter.

At the end of the work we put the machine to check the logs and control measurement of power.

We got 271 hp and 552nm. Now the car is more powerful by +61 hp and +98nm!
