We conducted a tuning of the new generation of the 3008 from Peugeot.
In this case, the car has a 2.0 HDI diesel engine with a claimed power of 150hp. (showed 140hp/323Nm in stock)
We want to note that the PSA diesel engines are very decent and unpretentious. This engine with the code designation DW10 FD is the representative of the latest generation of the DW10 family, which was installed not only on Peugeot and Citroen, but also on many different models of other brands.
The engine is software throttled from the factory, since there is exactly the same, identical one, but with a power of 180hp. This means that the increase in the power of the engine to 150hp will be very significant.
The fuel system, including the engine control unit, is still Delphi, but improved.
The firmware is read from the unit through the OBD connector, so there is no need to open it, for those who are concerned about the warranty, an interesting moment!)
After the work was done, the car showed 208hp and 459Nm on the dyno, compared to the stock, dyno readings of 140hp and 323Nm.
Chip tuning for Peugeot 3008 2.0 hdi added fresh, never unnecessary + 58hp and +136Nm.
