Stage1 BMW M4 F82.

Our company UPstage was visited by a German sports car from BMW. The sport version of the 4th series coupe. The car has a very strong character and not everyone will be able to control it completely. It is equipped with a 3-liter S55B30T0 twin turbo I6 engine that develops 431 horsepower and 550 Newton meters of torque.

For our client, these figures are no longer so impressive and the car can easily do more. It was decided to do a chip tuning for the BMW M4 F82 and add a few dozen horsepower and torque!

As usual, the first thing we do is diagnose and check the car for malfunctions. After making sure that everything is in order with the car, we start working.

The first dyno run showed: 486 horsepower and 606 Newton meters.

Then the next step. We extract the original software from the engine control unit. For this procedure, it is not necessary to remove it or even disassemble it, it is enough to connect to the car through the OBD connector. The file that we extract is sent to our partners, where all software calibrations are made.

After some time, we receive the file by email and it is ready to be written back to the car. After writing and making sure everything is in order, we can move on to new measurements!

The tuning version showed: 548 horsepower and 748 Newton meters.

An increase of +62 horsepower and +142 Newton meters is very noticeable compared to the original!
