Stage2 BMW X5 50i F15.

Our company UPstage has received another X5 from the German brand BMW. The car is the third generation and has a factory index of F15 body. Let me tell you a little about the engine of this model and what we will be working on. The 50i marking in this case means that there is a V8 with a volume of 4.4 liters installed here, and the code of this engine, N63B44, delivers 450 horsepower and 650 Nm in stock.

The client has given us a clear task, to make his car as fast as possible and without any loss of resources. The decision has been made and it is time to do the chip tuning for BMW X5 50i F15 at Stage2 improvements level.

Before we start any work, we will do a power measurement prior to all the modifications, in order to see the difference before and after. In stock, it showed: 429 horsepower and 655 Nm.

Our mechanics remove the factory catalytic converters and make custom downpipes to improve gas dynamics. The original exhaust headers have also been replaced for better exhaust gas flow, and of course, the sound has become more pronounced as the client desired.

Next, the original software will be removed and sent to our partners so that they can make the necessary adjustments for smooth and correct operation of all the replaced components.

After some time, the completed software is back with us and we install it back into the car! After all the work is done, we do a light dyno run and take logs, making sure that all the readings are in order and the car is working correctly. The car is now ready for a full power measurement!

The tuning version showed: 568 horsepower and 829 Nm., which means that the car has gained +139 horsepower and 174 Nm.
