One of the representatives of full-fledged SUVs received a Stage 1 tuning from UPstage.
We performed work on chip tuning Range Rover with 4.4l V8 TDV8 engine. This engine was designed by Ford, with the code name AJD-V8 and a fuel system from BOSCH.
After measuring power on a dynamometer and computer diagnostics, our specialists began the task at hand.
The engine control unit was removed. After opening and connecting, the original software was read and sent for further development by engineers.
After recording the optimized firmware, everything was reassembled and the car was placed on the dynamometer.
On the dynamometer, with our firmware, the car showed 383hp and 807Nm of torque, compared to the stock 313hp and 700Nm.
+70hp and +107Nm a fantastic boost by just optimizing the firmware.
