Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz GLE features an electrified 3-liter inline six-cylinder engine (M256) with twin turbos and an additional electric compressor. The factory car is claimed to have 435hp and 520Nm, but we will now test that.

Let’s take a look at what the car actually puts out on the dyno: 406hp and 504Nm.

The client decided to do a chip tuning on their Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG with a Stage1 software upgrade to safely increase the power.

After the optimization of the software, the car is returned to the dyno to measure the power after the work is done.

The end result was 445hp and 632Nm. +39hp +128Nm.
