Peugeot unveiled the second generation of its crossover model 3008. The car was built on a completely new EMP2 platform, which offers advantages such as increased strength and reduced weight. The engine lineup is quite extensive, but all vehicles are equipped with only front-wheel drive. To compensate for the lack of all-wheel drive, the Grip Control Advanced traction control system is offered with snow, mud, and sand driving modes.

This particular car has a 2.0 liter diesel engine that delivers 150 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. The owner came to UPstage to add a few extra horses under the hood. The chip tuning procedure for the Peugeot 3008 2.0HDI can guarantee an increase of +50 horsepower and +80 Nm of torque. Let’s see what kind of results we can achieve in reality.

Before putting the car on the dyno, we always check for any malfunctions, as tuning can only be done on a properly functioning car. After conducting a baseline measurement on the dyno, the results were: 152 horsepower and 368 Nm of torque.

Once we have the initial numbers, we can extract the original software from the car. After extracting and sending the original software to our partners, all we have to do is wait. After a while, we receive the tuned software, which can be safely written into the car and tested!

The tuned version showed a very respectable result, namely: 203 horsepower and 467 Nm of torque. This means an increase of +51 horsepower and +99 Nm of torque. After testing the car again after our modifications, the owner was very satisfied with the final result! The difference was very noticeable compared to the original.
