Hello everyone. Our company UPstage has recently tuned a very interesting car, namely: the second generation Porsche Cayenne. This configuration of the car has a 4.2 liter diesel V8 engine, which is the most powerful among all available diesel engines for this car. Its passport specifications are as follows: 385 hp and 850 Nm.

The car drives quite well, but the owner has already gotten used to it and wants a new dose of drive and emotions. That is why we have decided to do Porsche Cayenne 4.2 V8 TDI chip tuning at the Stage1 level.

When we received the car, the first thing we did was a full computer diagnostics to make sure that the car was in perfect working condition! After receiving a positive test result, we can move on to the next step.

Securing the car firmly on the dynamometer, we perform the first power measurement on the stock firmware. This will allow us to later compare the results before and after all the work. The stock firmware showed us the following results: 355 hp and 851 Nm.

Then our specialists read the original firmware from the engine control unit and send it to our partners for a more detailed tuning. After some time, we receive a response with the tuned firmware and immediately record it back into the car!

And it’s time to measure the power of the tuned version and see how much it has gained! The second measurement showed: 435 hp and 998 Nm. That’s +80 hp and +147 Nm. The owner was very satisfied with the result, and even more so with how the car now drives!
