We had a very interesting Volkswagen Tiguan second generation in our work. The car with a 2.0 TSI engine, producing 180 hp and 280 Nm. The owner came to our company with a clear goal of making the car more dynamic!

Our specialists wasted no time and immediately started working. After performing a computer diagnostic and making sure the car was in good condition, they attached it to the dyno and began measuring the stock parameters.

Stock showed: 196 hp and 316 Nm.

Next, using equipment, we read the original software from the engine control unit. For this procedure, we do not need to remove the block, let alone disassemble it. It is enough to connect to the OBD connector and then it is the master’s job.

Next, we send the read file to our partners, where engineers adjust everything in more detail, and then send the finished file back to us. After receiving a response email, we write the tuning version back into the car and start testing.

After the Volkswagen Tiguan chip tuning procedure showed: 248 hp and 388 Nm., which is +52 hp and +72 Nm more than the original.
