Reliable 2.4-liter turbodiesel has excellent traction potential, but in the factory 2022 version, its output is tightly constrained by environmental limits. When trying to start abruptly or accelerate with a loaded body, the control unit waits for a prudent pause before delivering the working moment.

After all the work was done, measurements were taken on the dynamometer stand and the following indicators were obtained 199hp and 500Nm .  Chip tuning Toyota Hilux 2.4D added +50hp  and  +87Nm of torque.
