Hello everyone. We performed chip tuning work for the Audi A5 3.0 TDI V6 at the Stage1 level. This means that no mechanical interventions are made to the car and the chip tuning procedure does not affect the engine’s resource.

Of course, before starting work, we carefully check the car for functionality. We inspect the car and do a full computer diagnosis. If the car is in perfect working condition, we move on to the next step!

Next is to measure the stock performance before any work is done, to see the difference later on. The stock measurements showed: 246hp and 595Nm.

The next step is to read the original software of the car. With special equipment, we read the program directly from the OBD connector without removing the engine control unit. Then we send the file to our partners, and they make all the necessary adjustments. After some time, we have the final tuning version of the program and we are ready to write it back to the car.

After all the work is done, we can do the final measurement and see the increase in power. By securing the car on the dyno stand, we can start!

The tuned version showed: 308hp and 708Nm., which means an increase of +62hp and +113Nm from the stock measurements.

Such a difference is impossible not to notice! According to the owner, the only regret was not doing chip tuning earlier!
