Stage2 Audi A8 4.2 TDI

We have a representative of the business class among the cars today on our setup – the Audi A8.

It’s a car with a powerful 4.2-liter diesel engine.

Passport data: 350 horsepower and 800Nm of torque.

You might think, why would you need more? What power figures will there be after chip tuning…

The thing is that sooner or later, the owner gets used to their car and faces the question of either buying a new one or upgrading and injecting new life into it. There are also avid and battle-hardened car enthusiasts, who rush to get their car modified immediately after purchase.

This particular client decided to add more power to their car and get rid of the diesel particulate filter, especially since this engine has a great potential for chip tuning.

The procedure went according to plan – the firmware was read, by the way, through OBD, and sent to the tuner with all the wishes, while the diesel particulate filter was being removed in parallel…

After the firmware was ready, it was written and then tested/diagnosed/logs were taken on a dynamometer stand.

As a result of chip tuning, this Audi gained an increase of +63hp and +242Nm and now delivers 413hp and 1042Nm.
