Stage1 Audi A8 50 TDI.

We took in the 2018 Audi A8 with a 3.0 V6 Bi-Turbo engine. The technical specifications declared by the manufacturer were 286hp and 600Nm, but our clients wanted even more. Therefore, the client decided to do chip tuning for the Audi A8 50 TDI at the Stage1 level without any mechanical modifications.

The task was clear for us and we got to work! We secured the car on the dynamometer and took measurements. The stock car produced the following results: 309hp and 615Nm.

Next comes the process of reading the original firmware. Using specialized equipment, we read the software directly from the car without removal or disassembly of the engine control unit.

We sent this file to our partners, and we wait for their response with the tuning version. After some time, we have the finished solution, and we write it back into the car.

All that was left was to take the final measurement on the dynamometer and see the achieved result. The end result was as follows: 367hp and 748Nm. The increase was +58hp and +133Nm.
