Hello everyone. Today our company UPstage was visited by a very interesting car. It’s a BMW 6 Series, the car was previously tuned by a third-party company at Stage2 level. Changes included the installation of a different intercooler and downpipe.

The owner decided to test his car on the dyno and find out how much horsepower is under the hood.

The dyno test showed: 350hp and 620Nm. The owner was not very satisfied with the result, as Stage1 with the right firmware shows much better numbers.

The client decided to re-tune the car and finally get the desired result. Our specialists immediately got to work. First of all, we reverted the car to factory settings and then extracted the software from it to send to engineers for proper calibration and tuning.

After some time, we already had the file in our inbox and it was ready for writing. After tuning, we put the car back on the stand and take logs. All the indicators are normal and working correctly, we can do a test run and see the results!

Our firmware showed: 400hp and 656Nm., from this we can conclude that the correct and proper firmware allows you to unleash the full potential of your car!

Increase from BMW 640i F06 chip tuning was +50hp and +36Nm.
