Hello friends. Today, we have in our work a Stage1 modification for the BMW X5 40i in the G05 body. This car is equipped with an engine B58B30M1 that claims to have 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, but as practice shows, this engine always performs better than claimed by the factory.

Let’s test it right away. We secure the car on the dynamometer and make a measurement. The result is as follows: 348 hp. and 482 Nm. After completing the measurement, we can confidently proceed with the procedure of chip tuning for the BMW X5 40i G05 since no problems or malfunctions were found.

The procedure for chip tuning at Stage1 software level has remained unchanged for years. We read the original firmware from the car and send it to our partners, who then conduct an individual tuning based on the original firmware. After some time, we receive the finalized tuning version.

We write the tuning file, make a measurement, and document the car’s logs. After checking all indicators, we perform a full-scale performance measurement and get a result of 422 hp. and 617 Nm. The increase is +74 hp. and +135 Nm.
