Today I want to tell you about how recently a German car Porsche Macan came to our company UPstage! The compact crossover is based on the Audi Q5 and started its history in 2013. Initially, the car was offered to be called Porsche Cajun, where the word Cajun was intended to mean “Cayenne Junior” – “younger Cayenne”. However, it was later changed to Porsche Macan. The company decided to use the Indonesian word “machan”, which means tiger.

The car in this configuration is equipped with a two-liter turbocharged engine that produces 252 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. This engine is the youngest in the lineup of gasoline engines, so the client turned to us at UPstage to increase the power. The owner decided to do Porsche Macan chip tuning only at the Stage1 software level.

First of all, we check the car using computer diagnostics. As soon as we make sure that the car is in good working condition, we can move on to the next item.

The dyno test allows us to see the power indicators before and after chip tuning. With factory settings, the car showed us the following characteristics: 248 horsepower and 346 Nm, which is 6 horsepower and 24 Nm less than stated.

When we got the first indicators, we can move on to the next item! Our specialists extract the original software and send it to our partners for a more precise refinement. Each car is tuned individually, based on the native software! After that, we put the tuned version back into the car.

It’s time to make a new test, but with the tuned version! On stage1, the indicators are as follows: 293 horsepower and 455 Nm, which is +45 horsepower and +109 Nm.

With such a difference, the car went much more interesting than before! The owner was very happy with the results, the car drove completely differently!
