Stage1 Range Rover Evoque 2.2 TD4

The little Range Rover doesn’t go! With these words the client handed us Evoque for chip tuning procedure.

Out of all the proposed options to improve the car, the client decided on Stage1 – software optimization (chip tuning), without any mechanical modifications.

Before the service of chip tuning – it is obligatory to check the car on the dynostand and computer diagnostics. After power measurements we get curves on power and torque and based on these data we will customize the machine.

This engine is still factory, deliberately strangled, for marketing purposes, as it is identical to 190 strong. And this means that the client will get a great increase in power, without a single hint of loss of resource.

Recording and reading the engine firmware was done through the diagnostic connector obd, without removing and opening the control unit.

As a result of this work, range rover evoque received a power increase of +71hp and +72nm.
