Hello everyone. Toyota Land Cruiser is a full-size SUV produced by Japanese company Toyota Motor Corporation since 1951. Land Cruiser has been in production longer than any other Toyota vehicle. Toyota cars have earned a worthy reputation on the market for both the comfort of the car and its reliability.

In late 2007, Land Cruiser 200 was released, replacing the previous Land Cruiser 100. Today we are working with this exact model, but it’s from 2018 and has undergone two waves of restyling. The first was in 2012 and the second in 2015, giving it a familiar and modern look.

The owner has decided to chip tuning their Toyota Land Cruiser 200 to improve its dynamic performance and driving experience. Our task is clear and we can get to work!

We will be working with a 4.5L diesel engine that produces 249 horsepower and 650Nm in its stock version.

The first dyno test gives us these results: 225 horsepower and 577Nm.

The next step is to read the original software from the engine control unit. Using special equipment, we retrieve the software and send it to our partners, where they make all the necessary adjustments to the firmware. After some time, we receive the finished file and write it back to the car.

It’s now time for the final dyno test and to see the real gains from our work!

The tuned version shows: 320 horsepower and 728Nm. This means an increase of +95 horsepower and +151Nm.
