I would like to draw your attention to the Swedish premium compact crossover. A very successful model from Volvo, from 2009 to 2015 XC60 was the best selling model of the company. The first generation XC60 Y20 began production in 2009, in 2013 a restyling of the model debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. In the course of modernization changed the front and rear of the car, as well as improved front optics. The interior of the car has acquired a graphical instrument panel TFT 8 and paddles. The production of the first generation Y20 ended in 2017 and it was replaced by the new SPA.

This car is fitted with a 2.0 D3 engine producing 150hp and 350Nm. The owner came to our company with the direct purpose of increasing the power, as the car wants more. The client decided to do chip tuning of his Volvo XC60 2.0 D3. The car will be tuned at the software level Stage1, without mechanical interventions on the car.

Before making the increase in power, you need to make sure that the car is in perfect working order. We diagnose the car with computer diagnostics and only when we get the green light, then the next step.

We fix the car on the dinostand and make the first measurement of the stock. The stock showed us 160 hp and 356Nm. When we got the first figures, our specialists read out the original software and send it to our partners for modernization and changing a number of settings. After a while we get a reply letter and write back.

Now it’s time to make a new measurement, but already on the tuning version, which should show us the difference. The tuned version did: 231hp. and 445Nm. and the difference was +61hp. and +89Nm. This result left the client delighted! The task was fulfilled to the fullest! The owner was very happy with the final result!
